Add powdered cinnamon
The easiest way to add cinnamon to your coffee is by adding it in powdered form. Dusting the finely powdered cinnamon over your coffee will add flavor, and you will not notice the texture of cinnamon bark.
As with anything else, powdered form is less flavorful as compared with sticks or bark itself. Also, powdered form loses its flavor easily because the flavors in spices are due to highly volatile oils. You can try to keep it in a dry and dark area in an airtight container to preserve the flavors. Proper storage conditions help in maintaining the flavor profiles of spices.

2. Cinnamon sticks
The second method is keeping cinnamon sticks with coffee beans.

You can even try keeping other spices that you want to have in your coffee, like nutmeg. I have tried this with cardamoms. I am a huge fan of cardamoms( small green).
When I kept cardamoms with coffee grounds, they picked up a subtle flavor of cardamoms and did not overpower the coffee. This is my personal choice, you may not like cardamom but cinnamon is liked by most of us.

3. Adding cinnamon during extraction
You can also add cinnamon powder while brewing the coffee. Not every coffee-making apparatus is good for this one.
If you add the cinnamon powder with coffee beans in espresso, it will not let the coffee grounds contact water properly and may result in clogged espresso. The extraction of coffee will not be to optimum levels.
In simple words, this is not an option for making espresso coffee.
You can mix cinnamon with honey and add it to your cup after brewing. Milk is also an option to dissolve(mix)cinnamon and add to coffee.
Adding cinnamon powder to coffee beans can work for French press and Turkish style coffee. Remember to strain coffee before drinking, or you will get the cinnamon particles in the cup. You will still get a few remains at the bottom of coffee.
