How to cook Barley in an Instant pot?

Equipment

  • Instant pot

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Barley
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon salt ( According to taste)
  • 1 Bayleaf (Optional)

Notes

  • Rinse the barley in cold water to avoid sticking while cooking.
  • Add the barley and water or broth to the Instant Pot.
  • Add any seasoning you want to add, like salt or bay leaf.
  • Seal the lid and pressure cook for about 20 minutes. 
  • Keep the sealing valve in to release position.
  • Quick-release the steam and serve hot.
  • You can add seasoning of your choice or butter to cookies barley.
